Appendicolith

This patient presented with typical
signs and symptoms of appendicitis, including right lower abdominal pain, anorexia,
nausea, and abdominal tenderness. Mucosal ulceration of unknown origin and obstruction
of the appendix by a fecalith are the most common causes of acute appendicitis.
